Why I Dont Make Resolutions

I don't make resolutions because I don't keep them. That is it!

Thinking back, I have never keep a New Year's Resolution; however, throughout my 20's I have always made them.

Instead of making resolutions, sit and plan for your year.

Map out your major goals and your sub- goals.

Chart how you are going to accomplish these goals.

Actually, get up and work on accomplishing your goals.

Vision board your goals, dreams and aspirations.

Never give up even if you feel like you cannot make it.

Contrary to popular belief, I am not one of those annoyingly happy persons. I have my good days, my not so good days and many down right horrible day.

However, what I have learnt is that a little inspiration did not hurt anyone. I have learnt that inspiration gives us hope that tomorrow will be filled with sunshine and gold, even if today is dark and weary.

So each month you can check into this corner of Lioness Rebirth for a dose of inspiration.

"Fear less, hope more, eat less, chew more, whine less, breathe more, talk less, say more, hate less, love more, and good things will be yours."

“Many people make the mistake of thinking that all the challenges in their lives would dissipate if they just had enough money. Nothing could be further from the truth. Earning more money, in and of itself, rarely frees people. It's equally ridiculous to tell yourself that greater financial freedom and mastery of your finances would not offer your greater opportunities to expand, share, and create value for yourself and others.”

 Anthony Robbins

Write down your dreams and make them real.

The Power of Positive Thinking

Positive thinking means having "hopefulness and confidence about the future or successful outcome of something; a tendency to take a favourable or hopeful view." Positive thinking in the typical sense of the word, ultimately means one expects the best possible outcome from any given situation.

Only use positive words when talking. If you're constantly telling yourself "I can't" you may convince yourself that's the truth. Replace these negative words with positive ones instead. Tell yourself you will do your best or that you will try your hardest instead.

I learned patience, perseverance, and dedication. Now I really know myself, and I know my voice. It's a voice of pain and victory.
