Do you think about it?
When was the last time you did the right thing beacuse it was the right thing to do?
Character is doing the right thing when nobody's looking. There are too many people who think that the only thing that's right is to get by, and the only thing that's wrong is to get caught (J.C. Watts). It is very easy to say but often very hard to do.For the last two weeks i have been faced with the reality of adulthood.
One night after rushing home, I stopped at the stoplight and reached for my phone. The next thing i knew, I was in the back of a Honda Civic 2005 motor car. To say i was freaking out was an understatement.
After just exchanging numbers we both went our separate way. I prayed no damage would be found but that was not the case. The car had to be fixed and we both decided on not going through the insurance company or reporting the accident to the police. The bill was $28,500 Jamaica dollars about 330 dollars US. To answer your question no i am not rich. I am actually far from it.
Would you walk away or do the repairs? What would you do?
I know making the right decision is often the hardest. So, i made the hard decision; i fixed the car out of many pocket. After all i was the one, who was wrong. But i am not going to lie, apart of me would have just wanted to disappear from the situation.
So my questions is: when was the last time you did the right thing?
