Why I Dont Make Resolutions

I don't make resolutions because I don't keep them. That is it!

Thinking back, I have never keep a New Year's Resolution; however, throughout my 20's I have always made them.

Instead of making resolutions, sit and plan for your year.

Map out your major goals and your sub- goals.

Chart how you are going to accomplish these goals.

Actually, get up and work on accomplishing your goals.

Vision board your goals, dreams and aspirations.

Never give up even if you feel like you cannot make it.

Positive Wednesdays!!!!

Japan- need i say more. Every day we weak up and the news about what is going on in Japan gets worst. Without a doubt many people hurting. You can also be hurting and you are no where near Japan.

It could be the lost of a love one: husband, child, mother, lover or even a brother. You might feel like there is a hole inside that cannot be filled. Depression might have you seeing the nothing but dispair. This Positive Wednesday is for you.

"In moments of discouragement, defeat, or even despair, there are always certain things to cling to. Little things usually: remembered laughter, the face of a sleeping child, a tree in the wind—in fact, any reminder of something deeply felt or dearly loved.
No man is so poor as not to have many of these small candles. When they are lighted, darkness goes away—and a touch of wonder remains."
-- "These Small Candles" ...tombstone inscription in Britain

  3. I couldn't agree more, its amazing the little things are usually so easily forgotten in this busy world. I remember back when I 22 i lost my license(for letting my insurance lapse) & I had to take the bus for a year. I thought my life was over(naturally) but i came to actually enjoy it. Not only was all the walking good for me & helped me loose a few pounds, but I think back now to all those mornings how calm & peaceful i was seeing the squirrels, the trees, the smell in the air. The cars passing by me were almost like those slow motion videos, where the world is going on around you superfast and you are standing there observing everything.
